In the middle of moving and packing up boxes, I didn't have very many days to hunt. I decided I would go out early one morning to see if I could see anything. As I was walking down the farm road back to the truck, I seen a buck stick his head out of the corn. I decided to just lay down right in the middle of the road. I looked through my binos and saw that it was a three point. As soon as I put down my glasses this guy stepped out of the corn as well. I got ready to take the shot at about 140 yards when the two bucks crossed the road and began running right in my direction. The bucks got about 10 yards from me and slammed on the brakes, turned and ran about 60 yards back the way they came from. This buck turned broadside and the T/C Omega did the rest. I double lunged him and he ran about 50 yards and piled up in the middle of the road. The buck is 25" wide with nice mass and a lot of neat character around the bases of his antlers. What a great hunt, probably one of the quickest hunts I have ever been on.
