Ice fishing was on the agenda for the last weekend of January, My dad Larry had invited my son Bridger to join him on a fishing trip to Minersville Reservoir here in Central Utah. I wasn't sure If I was invited on the Grandpa/Grandson trip or not, but luckily I was able to tag along, because it turned out to be a great day on the "Hard Deck"!

Being our first time to the lake we were unsure where or what to start with, the big fish in the reservoir seem to run shallow so we decided to pick bay near the southeast  side of the lake and drill our holes approx. 30' off the shore, but staggering the 3 holes to try to see if one depth was better than the other.  As far as lure or jig, Grandpa and Bridger opted for our favorite ice fishing jib, a Berkley Atomic Teaser in white with a orange teaser tail.  I started out with a drop shot leach fly pattern.
