As Top Priority came to fruition I started to notice a pattern. I didn't have one single photo with my dad, while hunting. I know my dads kind of old school, so any thing electronically you can pretty much rule out, but I had to get a picture with him before our hunting days were over. The Western Hunter television show has been my favorite from the beginning. They do an amazing job with the filming, editing & story telling. "Father Time" is Nate Simmons last elk hunt with his father. Truly one of the greatest and most powerful productions I’ve ever watched! I’d be a liar if I didn’t shed a tear or two while watching. This will make you cherish the times in the woods with loved ones! Remember to document those memories!!

I won the tag at the Hunt Expo, so I put in a lot of work over the summer. All that scouting work put me in the prime position to make a shot on a bull that scored 361" on opening morning. Most hunting videos only show the lead up to the shot and the happiness after, never the full extent of the conversations that go on packing out over 250lbs of meat, plus a cape, and skull with antlers back up a cliff side. My pack came in at 142 unbalanced pounds, I thought I was in shape, but lots of good jokes made during the packout. Check out the video; there's a good bull down, some laughs, some food and a whole lot of "Croc" wearing!
