Written By: Patrick Henrie aka Mountain Man Athlete Video of my DIY limited entry elk hunt on the Manti Unit. I won the tag at the Hunt Expo, so I put in a lot of work over the summer. All that scouting work put me in the prime position to make a shot on a bull that scored 361" on opening morning. Most hunting videos only show the lead up to the shot and the happiness after, never the full extent of the conversations that go on packing out over 250lbs of meat, plus a cape, and skull with antlers back up a cliff side. My pack came in at 142 unbalanced pounds, I thought I was in shape, but lots of good jokes made during the packout.
