Bear Encounters

Flash back to 2013, I had drawn a premium Bear tag in Utah on the Zion Unit, this tag allows a hunter to hunt the Spring, and Fall hunts. I was teamed up with Jared Houndem Higgins and we pounded the unit hard, finally in during the fall hunt we dialed in on a giant bear, turned out to be on hell of a bear chase, during which I had decided I was DONE, haha well turned out that fate was on our side and this big boar finally made a mistake and trailed the dogs through a draw and up the far side of the ridge where I took him down with my 270 win mag, a gun my dad gave to me when I was 12 years old!
